The Regina Whittlers and Woodcarvers group members spend much of their time carving ‘comfort birds’, small, smooth, birds, just right to hold in your hand during tough times. These carved birds are donated to Regina’s Allan Blair Cancer Centre to bring some comfort to patients. As of Winter 2026, 3822 birds have been created by club members.
