A free Weekend Wood Carving Share Shop will be held at the Weyburn Public Library, 45 Bison Ave on October 17st and 18nd, 2026, hosted by the Weyburn Carving Club. The event will run 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM both days.
This is a great chance to get together with other woodcarvers to see what they are doing as well as enjoying a weekend of carving. There will be a couple of project cutouts provided when you arrive and you can sit and carve with other woodcarvers attending the event.
Woodcarvers and spouses are welcome. There will be a ‘Roast Beef Supper’ for those attending, if they wish to stay for dinner. The price for the supper, not confirmed as yet, is expected to be about $25.00 per person. Saturday lunch will be sub sandwiches and pizza dinner for those who wish to order in.
These are quite enjoyable events where you’ll get a chance to meet fellow carvers and enjoy meeting others with the same interests. If you plan to attend and stay in a hotel, the local Travelodge is being approached for preferred rates for Saturday.
